Torch Run |

Many joined us for the 2007 Torch Run, a 5-mile walk, run or bike event, on June 10 to benefit Special Olympics.
The Flame of Hope, the Special Olympics' symbol of persistance in raising awareness, was carried across Illinois. The Carpentersville leg of the Torch Run began in Geneva.
All participants donated $25 and received a Special Olympics T-shirt to wear on the run.
The T-shirts were picked up at the Carpentersville Police Department prior to the run.
